Target Audience

North American-based junior faculty, fellows, and postdoctoral researchers (MDs, DOs, and PhDs) who are pursuing a career in academic research by conducting basic science, translational, and/or clinical research using immuno-oncology strategies directed at solid tumor or hematologic malignancies.

Learning Objectives
  1. Identify immuno-oncology research study designs and methods that may improve on current approaches.
  2. Examine the impact of scholarly activity and clinical research on continuing professional development.
  3. Evaluate strengths and weaknesses of immuno-oncology research presented by Young Investigator peers.
  4. Improve public speaking and presentation skills to effectively present research findings to the larger medical and scientific community.
  5. Explore “what it takes” to become a research investigator in immuno-oncology by discussing career challenges such as grant writing, research funding, academic appointments, etc. with leading expert investigators.

(CEC) is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team. 

CEC designates this live educational activity for a maximum of 14 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Upon completion of a CE Request Form, statements of credit for physicians will be issued within 30 business days.
